We share content for people who want to go to medical school. Here, we’ll share research-backed advice, insider knowledge, practical tips and actionable how-tos.

Who we are?

If you’re just finding us for the first time, allow us to introduce ourselves: Our founder, Tasheema Prince, started PreMedLife in 2010. She started the magazine when she noticed a need for more guidance beyond what you need to know about prerequisites. Like other than good grades and a good MCAT score, what else will help me stand out in the medical school admissions process - these were the questions that Tasheema asked. So, she started PreMedLife.com.

Why you’re here to stay?

  • You want to get into medical school and that sh*t is hard.

  • We create award-winning content for pre-medical students.

  • We are rooting for you.

  • You want a less raggedy medical school admissions journey.

What’s in the newsletter?

Our readers have said our content is “just what’s needed to standout from the competition” and “is not the premed newsletter your parent’s are used to” and “cuts through the noise and bs".

“Being authentically me as a pre-med just got a whole lot easier.”

Free subscribers will continue to get occasional free posts. Paid subscribers are about to get a whole lot more, including…

  • A regular roundup of the most relevant news for pre-med students (per my reader survey, that’s you, or soon-to-be-you!) on the topics of medical school admissions, the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT), mental wellness, study hacks - and the ability to share your thoughts with the PreMedLife community.

  • What successful premeds, industry insiders, admissions experts, are talking about, and their candid perspectives.

  • Live interviews with cool medical students, working physicians, financial aid and scholarship experts, mental wellness experts, pre-medical advisors, and admissions directors.

  • Regular updates on the behind-the-scenes for the PreMedLife Team (figuring out another social media post, working out of a cafe in Washington, DC, etc. etc.)

  • Community features, including live & life chats, the ability to connect with other pre-med readers, start your own threads, and weigh in on the week’s topics. Like a 24/7 chat room for the coolest pre-meds out there.
